Joachim Romann of Germany

Born: Danzig, Poland, 1916
Died: Kronberg, 1996

In 1932, Joachim Romann attended the Danzig Arts and Crafts College, where he studied lithography until 1937.

He then studied type design in Offenbach until 1941. He became a printing arts teacher and simultaneously worked as a type designer for the Klingspor foundry until 1948.

After that he freelanced as a designer.
