Joseph Kaspar Sattler of GermanyBorn: Schrobenhausen, House No. 184, Bavaria, 1867 Joseph Sattler was the leading German art nouveau illustrator and book designer in 1900. He worked for the magazines Pan and Simplicissimus. In 1897 he designed the typeface Nibelungeschrift for the Reichsdruckerei Berlin.
