Beat Stamm of Switzerland
Swiss expert in type technology, working in the Microsoft Typography Group. He developed Visual TrueType, the most powerful software for hinting TrueType fonts, basing it on Sampo Kaasila’s TypeMan software, which Microsoft licensed. He now works on ClearType.
