Jack Yan founded JY&A in 1987. A native of Hong Kong with his heritage in Chinese royalty and aristocracy and the United States (the Yans settled there at the turn of the last century), Jack currently resides in Wellington, New Zealand.
Jack’s interests are varied. They include automobile design and marketing, a fascination for international cultures, Confucianism in the context of global harmony, Westminster politics, diplomacy, intellectual property law, French impressionism, and the mu.
