Aramus is an adaptation of a tracing of one of Dan Solo's old clip art alphabets called Erasmus Light. It was a look at some of the more obscure serif faces as research for a new book font family that has more traditional proportions. Aramus works well for body copy and especially for display work. It became the basis of both Amitale and Contenu,, my best book design fonts families.
