Maxfield Parrish (1870–1966), whose career spanned nearly ninety years, holds a unique place in American art and culture. He was enormously accomplished and successful in both fine art and commercial endeavors. Parrish’s hand-drawn letters were a significant part of his works, which bridged the familiar with a startling otherworldliness. P22 has created the font set on the Maxfield Parrish CD in cooperation with the National Museum of American Illustration.
The Signature Pack CD contains 17 handwriting and dingbat fonts inspired by famous artists including Leonardo da Vinci, Edward Hopper, Vincent van Gogh and, of course, our ever popular Cézanne. These fonts are also available in individual sets, but this collection offers substantial savings.
CD is packaged in a handsome DVD case and includes a keychart booklet.
The Book of Kells is a ninth century gospel created in the British Isles and is considered to be the finest existing example of early Celtic art. The book itself is now housed in the Trinity College Library, Dublin. The font set on the Kells CD combines historical accuracy with functional readability and features 72 elements and linking borders.
