{"title":"Karel Haloun","description":"\u003cp\u003eKAREL HALOUN (born in 1951 in Prague) studied at the Secondary Vocational School of Art (1967-1971) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (1972-1978), where he worked as a teacher. He is interested mainly in graphic design, poster design, CD covers, and logotypes. He is also involved in book editing. He is the author of illustrations (1985 - Award for Illustration for an Artist under 35), collages, drawings, prints, and objects. Co-author of the interior of the Prague restaurant Chicken in a Clock. He also participated in the decoration of the Prague Junior Club Na Chmelnici. He worked on the covers of music CDs for samizdat edition + - zvuk, Panton, Supraphon, Sony Music Bonton, Monitor EMI, BMG, Polygram, Indies, Anne rec., Black Point, Lotos, Wolf rec., and Globus International. He has exhibited at home and abroad.
