{"title":"Paolo Arfelli","description":"Paolo Arfelli trained as a graphic designer under the mentorship of Umberto Giovannini, a renowned woodcut artist from his region. At the age of 18, he was first influenced by Daniele Panebarco, a well-known comic artist from his hometown of Ravenna. He began his journey in film journalism on Luca Oliverio’s portal, covering early retrospectives on comics (*Fumetti d'Arte*) and writing film reviews. He continued his career as a writer, contributing to Blasting News, Cinemio, and Versus Giornale. Today, he regularly writes and publishes content for Cinemio and his own blog, Dicinema. His work as a font designer is distinguished by original adaptations of title sequences from iconic films such as Metropolis (specifically the 1984 version presented by Giorgio Moroder), Flash Gordon, and Transformers. In 2012, a collaboration with author Jenna Elizabeth Johnson resulted in the creation of the \"Faelorehn\" font for her novel series of the same name. He has also pursued his publishing ambitions through a project titled Director's Cut, available in both online and print formats. In 2025, to commemorate the centenary of the birth of writer and educator Alberto Manzi, he created an animated comic and podcast series based on Isa (Orzowei).","products":[],"url":"https:\/\/www.myfonts.com\/collections\/paolo-arfelli.oembed","provider":"MyFonts","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
