My path into type design grew from years of working with Arabic lettering for different brands and cultural projects, including posters, podcasts, documentaries, and events.\n\n\n\n\nI have spent a lot of time studying Arabic calligraphic traditions and looking closely at Arabic-script lettering. This experience has trained my eye to recognize subtle differences in mood, identity, and expression within letterforms, and to translate those qualities into type design.
