During my first visit, I hitch hiked around Australia - looking for seasonal jobs, like picking grapes, lychees and avocados. I also toured the outback. During one of these camping trips, the guide made a damper - a rough bread made from flour, salt, water and some baking soda. He kneaded the dough, put it in a Dutch oven and buried it in the hot ashes of our campfire. The result was a very impressive and super delicious bread!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOutback Damper was made with a brush and ink.
