Meet Cabeza Grossa from AKOFAType.
We know you've seen something like it from the past but we assure you this is not a retro revival but a re-introduction! With hints to mid-century modernism and not-too-subtle references to the pop and mod movements, this typeface has enough “cred” to really hold its own. However, during our development of Cabeza Grossa, we also became aware of a certain wanderlust that this typeface can evoke. This unintended design benefit makes Cabeza Grossa as at home on the hand painted billboards of West Africa as it would be on a jazz café logo in Munich or even the side of a taxi speeding through São Paulo.
