À propos de la famille

Gurkner is all about soft edges, bouncy forms, and that slightly wobbly energy that makes text feel alive. Its plump, rounded shapes carry a hint of cartoon mischief, but they’re not locked to any one theme—you can push it toward playful, surreal, retro, or even lightly spooky with the right colors and imagery.

You get two personalities in one family. Gurkner Regular keeps things steady and easy to follow, while Gurkner Jump adds a subtle angled baseline for extra motion. Slant the Jump style, and it springs to life with extra zing, perfect for packaging, posters, or anywhere you want to dial up the movement. Keep it level, and you still get that lively bounce—just with a calmer, more grounded feel.

Ligatures swap certain letter pairs automatically, breaking up repetition so words look more hand-drawn than machine-set. This small touch gives your headlines a natural flow, like each letter decided where to land.

Think candy wrappers, gooey snacks, playful toy packaging, festival posters, indie game titles, or offbeat children’s books. Gurkner’s bulbous curves can read as chewy, fluffy, or even drippy depending on your palette and setting. It’s a display font that doesn’t just sit on the page—it jiggles, nudges, and smiles back at you.
