My journey into type design began in 2022, when my older brother introduced me to the world of type. What started as a simple curiosity gradually grew into a deeper fascination with letterforms, their shapes, proportions, rhythm, and character. That same year, I founded a small independent studio called Typerich, which later took a pause as my freelance graphic design work became my main focus. In late 2026, I decided to return to type design with a renewed sense of purpose and a clearer direction, building what is now Existype an independent type foundry dedicated to creating and publishing original typefaces. My work is driven by curiosity, experimentation, and attention to detail, with an interest in finding a balance between expressive character and practical use. With guidance and support from Dhan Studio, I continue to learn and develop my understanding of typeface design, from drawing and construction to spacing and refinement.
