Chauncey H. Griffith

Kentucky printer and Linotype salesman who directed the growth of the Linotype library from 1915 to 1948, improved the look of the world’s newspapers and established Linotype as the composing machine of choice in North America. He continued as a consultant to Linotype well into his retirement.
