Hannibal Ingalls Kimball

American proprietor of private presses first in partnership with Herbert Stuart Stone, then on his own as the Cheltenham Press in New York. He wished to follow in William Morris’ footsteps. At his instigation, Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue drew the Cheltenham design. Both Bruce Rogers and Will Bradley designed book covers for the Stone and Kimball press.
