Jose V Lopez, PhD, studies molecular evolutionary biology at the Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center. He has always been drawn to fine art and music, and before embarking on the search for order and patterns within the genetic code, he was originally planning to become an architect. He thus enjoys dabbling in drawing as a different form of expression, with the design for Futurum Parqez being one result of that endeavor.
