Kenn Munk

Kenn Munk is based in Aarhus, Denmark where he’s been making alternative fonts and dingbats since 2000, his foundry also called Kenn Munk. His designs are usually based on an underlying system that allows the user to ‘build’ words, or in the case of dingbats - images. This obsesion is probably due to the hours and hours spent playing with LEGO bricks in his childhood.

Kenn was born in Kolding, Denmark in 1974 and studied Graphic design 1995-1998 at Design Seminariet, Hojer, Denmark. From 1998 onwards he has worked in advertising, but in his spare time and at night he works on less commercial and more personal projects including design, clothing, toys and fonts.
