Born in Kent, adopted, brought up in Gloucestershire, School in Thornbury/Glos, Graphic Design College in Exeter/Devon, Have lived in Devon since then - 31 years.
Worked in retail display design and construction with House of Fraser and with Habitat. Left paid work in 1992, worked with Hands-on-Trust as Crafts Tutor, C&G 730 Adult Teacher Training. Six years part time with W.E.A. Counselling and Psychotherapy - qualified as Counsellor in 2001. Since 1994, work with Oxfam Home Wares Dept.
