Ronnie Cruz

My name is Ronnie “The Cruiser” Cruz, and I'm a Font Designer. I studied at the Joe Kubert School Of Cartoon And Graphic Art. This lead to my work as a comicbook letterer. Doing those long hours hand-lettering pages made me resolve not to go back once I go computerized.

Aside from comicbooks, my other passion is Progressive Rock. This lead me to my interest in the work of Roger Dean. I am hoping to expand into designing logos for Rock Bands as a result of my admiration of Roger Dean. It might surprise a lot people, but another designer who has influenced my work is Eddie Van Halen. In case, you don't know he designed the Van Halen logo.
