David Cohen

Dave Cohen (AKA SQUID) is one of the premier designer/sculptors in the weird and wonderful world of TIKI.

Since 1999, SQUID has been surfing atop the Tiki revival wave, creating traditional and way-out Tiki mugs as well as jewelry and ephemera. He also works in collaboration with other top-notch artists such as SHAG, Von Franco, Derek Yaniger, The Pizz and Gary baseman to drag their 2-D madness into the 3-D world kickin' and screamin'! Now SQUID has put his natural supply of ink to good use designing fonts that represent not only his personal style and influences, but complement the entire lowbrow, googie, and kitschy scene that has embraced his work to date.
