{"title":"Nils Thomsen","description":"Captivated by graffiti ever since he was a child, Nils developed a fascination for letter shapes and type. With this interests Nils successfully completed his studies at Muthesius art school in Kiel, and his master’s degree in the postgraduate Type and Media course in The Hague. His master’s thesis “Meret” the award wining typeface is used in several international magazines. (e.g. Fast Company Magazine)\n\n\nFrom 2011 to 2013, Nils worked at Bureau ErlerSkibbeToensmann in Hamburg. There he participated in the redesign of the German daily \u003ci\u003eSüddeutsche Zeitung\u003c\/i\u003e, contributing to its new corporate typeface. Nils parts were the \"text-face\" and the additional headline \"serif-face\".\n\n\nIn 2013 Nils started his own business “Nils Types”. He focussed on drawing and selling typefaces and started to working self employed for different clients. His Sans Serif workhorse Conto got a MyFonts Bestseller. In 2015 Nils draw an exclusive handmade Font for the Lufthansa Magazine by Gruner+Jahr.\n\n\nIn summer 2015 Nils Thomsen and \u003ca href=\"\/pt\/person\/Jakob_Runge\"\u003eJakob Runge\u003c\/a\u003e founded \u003ca href=\"\/pt\/foundry\/typemates\"\u003eTypeMates\u003c\/a\u003e the straight forward font foundry from Germany.","products":[],"url":"https:\/\/www.myfonts.com\/pt\/collections\/nils-thomsen.oembed","provider":"MyFonts","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
