Rayuela
Rayuela (Spanish for ‘Hopscotch’) is inspired in the ludic atmosphere of literature by Argentinean writer Julio Cortázar. The type family was designed between 1999 & 2000 during two European postgraduate courses: MA in typeface design, University of Reading (UK), and later at the ANRT, atelier national de recherche typographique (Nancy, FR). The challenge was to design a letterform that could create an informal atmosphere while still being comfortably readable. Rayuela was PampaType's first multi-style family. Since then other families of the foundry (such as Borges, Arlt, or Perec) have followed a similar spirit, that is building a system whose personality relies more in variety than in a rigid consistency.

For a PDF file with more information on Rayuela, please click here
Visit PampaType.com for more information.
