DigiGrotesk was designed in 1968 by the Hell Design Studio and is available in seven weights from light to bold. The forms of DigiGrotesk N were strongly influenced by the constructed characters of Neuzeit Grotesk, while those of DigiGrotesk S were based more on the sans serif fonts of the Bodoni-Clarendon type, like Akzidenz Grotesk, Univers or Futura. Some of the earliest digital fonts, all alphabets with the name DigiGrotesk are intended exclusively for longer texts.
