Neo Sans Arabic, designed by Patrick Giasson for Monotype, is a modern companion to Sebastian Lester’s original Neo Sans family (2004). Giasson, a specialist in multilingual type systems, translated Neo Sans’ distinctive futuristic curves and softened geometric forms into a responsive Arabic script that supports both display and text usage. With six weights from Light to Ultra and carefully tuned proportions for right-to-left (RTL) readability, it enables seamless integration across Arabic and Latin interfaces—making it an essential tool for global brands and cross-script corporate identities.

Beyond its original positioning as a “futuristic” display face, Neo Sans Arabic has emerged as a core asset in MENA fintech typography. Its clarity at small sizes and consistency across screen resolutions make it especially relevant for mobile banking apps, trading dashboards, and digital wallets, where trust, legibility, and regulatory compliance matter most.
