Soupirs is a stencil font family of 310 vernacular ornaments.
These have been redesigned from existing decorative soupiraux* found in the streets of Bordeaux (France). This collection is an eclectic mix of forms with fascinating particularities and intriguing stories.
*soupirail (plural soupiraux): French for the opening made at the bottom of a building to bring air and light to the cellar.
