About this font family

The days of hot metal may be behind us, but Anvil looks as if it has been forged in a smithy’s fire: a handsome, heavyweight display face that is both impressive and impactful. My working title for the font family was “Diamond” because of the distinctive angular shape of the letter “O”. This was the starting point for the design. The rest followed naturally.
