About QR Font Family

QRc is based on a 2-D, space-saving optical code widely used in Japan. The code was originally intended for use in factories but quickly crossed into the consumer sector. With an enabled handset, a QR code -- which can appear on an ad, postcard, or almost anywhere else -- can be instantly interpreted to reveal its underlying message. QR contains 219 images.

You can use the QRc font to accurately encode the letters you type, or just use it to create fields of lovely, semi-random pixel texture!

The counterpart font, QR Type, is also a celebration of entropic pixelation, but the formations are alphabetic and human-readable.

About T-26

T26 Digital Type Foundry was established by Carlos and Sun Segura in 1994 to promote independent type design development and distribution. With award-winning promotional designs by its parent company Segura Inc., T26 has maintained its relevance with a dedication to the broader integration of typography with graphic design, fine art, and popular visual culture.Carlos had come from an 11-year career as Art Director, Creative Director, and Designer at many of the top advertising agencies in the country, and along with Sun Segura had already been running the Segura Design firm in Chicago since early 1991. This presented an opportunity to further the procedures, policies, and concepts which led to the initial creation of the T26 Digital Type Foundry.
