Ahmed Khoswan
I am a graphic and type designer with a Master’s degree in Design and History of Art. My background combines academic research, visual culture and professional design practice, with a strong focus on typography, branding and visual identity.
Since 2014, I have also worked professionally in Italy on cosmetic packaging design, developing visual concepts and packaging solutions where typography plays a central role in shaping brand identity and product perception. This experience has strongly influenced the way I approach type design, with particular attention to proportion, elegance, readability and distinctive visual character.
Through Minimalistartstudio, I create contemporary typefaces ranging from refined serif families and modern sans serifs to more expressive display designs. My work is driven by an interest in geometry, composition, art history and the relationship between typography and visual communication. I aim to create fonts that are both distinctive and practical for branding, packaging, editorial design, advertising and digital applications.
