Stubborn Type was founded as a response to safe, interchangeable typography. Coming from a graphic design background rooted in visual experimentation, poster culture, and digital first media, the foundry was built to explore type as a strong visual voice not just a functional tool. Our experience spans independent design work, digital visuals, and self-initiated type projects. That background shapes how we approach lettering: practical enough to work in real layouts, but expressive enough to carry an idea on its own. Stubborn Type operates independently, allowing full control over concept, process, and execution no compromise, no shortcuts.
