Über die Familie

Fake Greek is a bold Ancient Greek–inspired display typeface designed for impact, drama, and timeless visual storytelling. Rooted in classical epigraphy and monumental stone carvings, this typeface captures the architectural strength of ancient inscriptions while remaining highly usable for contemporary design. Its sharp geometric cuts, sculptural serifs, and balanced proportions evoke temple friezes, amphitheater engravings, and heroic mythological narratives — yet with modern spacing and refined kerning for today’s layouts. Designed specifically for posters, signage, branding, packaging, advertising, entertainment graphics, and editorial headlines, Fake Greek brings mythic authority and theatrical flair to any composition. Whether you're designing for a historical exhibition, a fantasy brand, a theatrical production, a Mediterranean restaurant, a game title, or a bold promotional campaign, this font delivers: Monumental presence Classical elegance Graphic clarity at large scale Strong silhouette recognition Authentic ancient flavor without sacrificing readability Perfect for: Posters • Billboards • Logos • Packaging • Event graphics • Cultural projects • Advertising campaigns • Theatrical productions • Mythology-inspired branding • Fantasy media Available in: Regular • Bold • Medium Includes: Uppercase • Lowercase • Numerals • Punctuation • Basic Latin • Extended Latin • Alternates inspired by classical Greek letterforms. Bring the spirit of marble, myth, and Mediterranean sun into your typography.

Until I had to solve a problem that led me to create my first full font with many glyphs, letters and signs. And now here I am.
