Mahasal is a sans-serif typeface that emphasizes simplicity. It offers multiple width variations ranging from the ultra-condensed to the ultra-expanded, and multiple weights from the thin to the black for each width, totaling 162 available styles. The condensed widths have a capsulated letter structure, while the normal to ultra-expanded widths feature a geometric structure. The width expansion follows the OS/2.usWidthClass specification, where the normal width is 100%, the ultra-condensed width is 50%, and the ultra-expanded width is 200%. Compared to Anantason Reno and Prachason Neue fonts, Mahasal offers significantly more width and condensed variations. Therefore, Mahasal is a versatile font that can be used in various types of public relations media.

Jipatype is a one-man type foundry based in Bangkok, Thailand, officially established in 2022 but operating since 2019 by Anupap Jaichumnan. The foundry's name comes from the Thai word จิปาถะ, which translates to "miscellaneous", "assorted", or "various". This reflects the variety of design approaches and influences that are present in its typefaces. Jipatype creates fonts that blend traditional Thai design elements with modern typography trends. Each typeface is developed with careful attention to both aesthetic details and practical usability, making them suitable for a range of design projects.
