Über die Familie

The source of inspiration for Manoir Monogram is a distinguishingly narrow Victorian initial letterset adorned with flourishes from a vintage embroidery publication. This digital revival splits the letterset from its flourished background to give you more design flexibility. Manoir is a highly ornate typestyle with a lot of elegance and flair. MFC Manoir Monogram has uppercase and smallcap letters that support one, two, and three letter monograms of an antiquated Victorian style, allowing colorizing of type and flourish elements separately. Download and view the MFC Manoir Monogram Guidebook if you would like to learn a little more. Manoir Monogram comes complete with both Pro and Standard format fonts. For those with programs that can take advantage of OpenType features, the Pro fonts are for you, but for others without the ability to use OpenType features, we've created separate fonts that make up the styles contained in the Pro font.

Monogram Fonts Co. is a product of type designer, Brian J. Bonislawsky, known for his involvement in the Astigmatic One Eye Typographic Institute, the Breaking the Norm Font Library, VersusTwin Type Foundry, and Foundry-X. In looking ahead and planning his wedding to his optometrist fiancée, he realized that monogramming seemed an integral part in most wedding invitations as well as personal item branding. However, there seemed to be a distinct lack of monogram typefaces, outside of embroidery fonts. As a result, and with the desire to change that, a new font company is born with the hopes of becoming the Monogram Authority on the web!
