Über die Familie

Created as a polite alternative to the harsh, "shouting" sans-serifs that crowd today's digital landscape, Pirso captures visual attention through warmth and clarity rather than visual noise. Its balanced proportions and soft geometry ensure exceptional legibility across both high-resolution displays and print media.

The defining characteristics of this typeface are its softened, rounded corners and generous open counters, making it an essential tool for approachable branding and comfortable digital reading.

This versatile family encompasses 5 styles, ranging from Light to Bold to provide flexibility for complex design environments.

Über Habitype

Habitype is a type foundry aimed at creating typefaces for brand and graphic designers. Built from a designer's perspective, we know exactly how much influence a font can have on a design. But, choosing a font that has a character but still functional and flexible is often painful, and Habitype exists to heal that pain. Habitype focuses on creating typefaces that have distinct character, but at the same time, are flexible and easy to use across a wide design context. We split the difference between a wildly experimental type and a neutral-flat typeface. The Habitype catalog focuses on crafting distinct sans-serifs, modern serifs, and display fonts devoid of unnecessary visual noise. The name Habitype is a combination of word "Habitat" and "Type," representing our vision to become a habitat for a wide variety of unique and functional typefaces. Because we believe that every design deserves its own unique typeface.
