Semikolon Fonts

As an orthographic character, the semicolon (Greek: half colon) separates parts of a sentence from each other with a certain weight.In relation to my fonts, the name ‘Semikolon’ stands for the distinct, separate letter forms.Semikolon Fonts aim to minimise the risk of confusion between similar characters and thus help to motivate reading and promote learning.Thanks to their legible characters, Semikolon Fonts are used in numerous books, including those published by Loewe-Verlag, in adult education centres, other educational institutions and in learning apps for all age groups.The Federal Association for Literacy and Basic Education e. V. has been using ‘SemikolonPlus’, one font from the Semikolon Family, across all media for reading booklets, information and teaching materials in adult education since 2009. Learners on literacy courses benefit from the optimal legibility thanks to clear letter shapes.
