Über die Familie

NEW – Remastered for 2025! Originally crafted in 2011 by Superfried, this experimental all-caps display typeface is designed to make a bold statement. With its name reflecting its striking aesthetic, Slash showcases solid blocks carved via unique incisions to create intricate curved forms that define each glyph, delivering a powerful visual impact. The 2025 update includes refined character designs and optimized spacing for improved readability. Slash offers versatility with three distinct styles: Display, Outline, and Offset.  Each font features two interchangeable character styles, angled or straight incisions, allowing for creative flexibility in branding, web design, and editorial projects. Slash is a perfect headline typeface for projects that demand attention and creativity.

Über Superfried

Hi, Mark here – self-taught designer and the founder of a graphic design studio called Superfried. Launched from a London bedroom in 2007, Superfried now delivers award-winning brand strategy from sunny Manchester. I collaborate with external specialists to provide bespoke solutions for domestic and international clients. In addition to project work, I experiment with typography, which has led to the release of 16 commercial typefaces. Superfried fonts reflect the client work – varied and experimental in nature. From everyday, multi-weight sans serifs and headline fonts, through to highly conceptual, challenging, and unique styles ideal for bold marketing campaigns and brand development projects.
