À propos de la famille

The concept of Antonym revolves around the ideas of connection and contrast. It emphasizes the space created by intersecting multiple lines.

The primary lines are thin, long, and sharp, occasionally featuring long, elegantly sweeping tails reminiscent of handwritten script styles. The expansive counter space contrasts with relatively narrow spacing, promoting a close connection between characters and a continuous flow. Ligatures further extend these connections, contrasting the right-angled flow of serifs with disconnected terminals and flowing curves.

In contrast to an ink trap font, this design incorporates rich black spaces, resembling pooled ink. Just as ink accumulates at the intersections of lines, the typeface highlights areas where lines converge, emphasizing the gathering of ink and the thinning of lines.

While the typeface's wireframe is monoline, it doesn't maintain a uniform line thickness. Instead, it places emphasis on areas where lines intersect and form clusters, creating a stark contrast between intense intersections and light lines.
