Choc Chip is a font from my younger days as an apprentice sign writer -when breaking the rules of lettering was ok because I was new to the trade. It didn’t take long before this font was on posters, windows and buildings. With years of use and refinement Choc Chip has the look of a real man’s font: in your face, easy to read and a real character to look at. Choc Chip is packaged with a 3D version (Choc Dip) at no extra cost.

À propos Very Good Fonts

Very Good Fonts is the outlet for the lettering designs of Paul Brannelly, assisted by digitising skillionaire David Buck. Paul is an illustrator, cartoonist, old-school ticket writer, and sign writer. He has been creating fonts by hand since he started working as a sign writer straight out of school in the late 1980s. Since then he has built up a library of lettering styles which he creates and develops in the course of his work. Paul lives in the one-horse town of Marton, New Zealand but has clients throughout the country and internationally. David runs the SparkyType font foundry, creating commercial fonts for sale and custom fonts for a variety of clients. David lives in Wellington, New Zealand. Very Good Fonts specialises in authentic sign writing and ticket writing inspired fonts and will continue to release new designs regularly.
