Eisa Aleisa

Eisa AlEisa is an artist and type designer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He came to type design through drawing, and still works that way: every letterform begins as ink on paper, shaped and reshaped by hand long before it becomes a digital curve. That process gives his typefaces their warmth , rounded heads, flowing waves, deep bowls, and stems cut with a single confident chamfer. His focus is original Arabic display type with a contemporary voice, drawn for logos, headlines, packaging, and brands that want to feel distinctly Arabic. His last release is Aljawhara.
