Friedrich Bernhardt

I’m Friedrich Bernhardt, a type and graphic designer originally from Berlin, now based in Singapore. With a background in visual communication and branding, I focus on creating expressive, character-driven typefaces for contemporary use. My influences stem from brutalist design, modernist typography, and experimental graphic culture. I’m inspired by the tension between order and imperfection, exploring how rhythm and contrast can give letters a sense of movement and life. Each project is an attempt to translate emotion into form through thoughtful, tactile design.
