Inform typeface draws inspiration from non-joining brush calligraphy, with additional influences from Edwin W. Sharr's Flash typeface from 1939. It is perfect for use in advertising and display typography, whether as the main feature or for creating impactful accents.

Originally designed by Gennady Baryshnikov, the typeface was further developed at Paratype (ParaGraph) in 1992 by Vladimir Yefimov and Alexander Tarbeev. Their contributions added new styles and enhanced its versatility, making Inform a robust choice for various design applications.
