Jules Durand

Jules Durand is a freelance type designer and stone carver. Raised in the Basque Country, he settled in Toulouse in 2024. He is a graduate of the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique in Nancy. His practice focus on playful inspiration, from medieval sources, heraldry symbology, he also investigate ornaments through cryptography, sigilism and forgotten signs.
