Karajan Type Foundry, established in 2024 in Prague, is named after its founders, Karel Haloun and Jan Arndt. This innovative type foundry specializes in crafting headline fonts that push the boundaries of functionality, experimentation, and utility. Karel Haloun, a seasoned type designer, previously led the type design and typography studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design (UMPRUM) in Prague. His former student, Jan Arndt, brings fresh perspectives to the craft.
