It's a typeface constructed with orthogonal lines joined in a fixed order. The font creates a texture that implies an optical play. On the one hand, the texture of a pattern can be observed with the naked eye, while the direction of the lines generates a text which can be observed after a few seconds. Optica is a tribute to the optical art of Colombian artist Omar Rayo. This type performs better at large sizes. Certificate of Excellence from the Type Directors Club 2009
