Typewriter Spool is a comprehensive family of 122 fonts that captures the texture, spacing, and personality of vintage typewritten text. Based on the classic Underwood No. 5 and years of research into typewriters from around the world, it offers four distinct styles:

• CLN—clean and precisely aligned, like a well-maintained machine.

• SFT—smooth with gentle misalignments for a subtle, authentic feel.

• XRX—gritty and degraded, as if photocopied and faxed through multiple generations.

• RUF—worn ribbon textures and clunky misalignment for a more rugged, distressed look.

Each style comes in multiple weights and widths, with underline options in place of italics. Some styles include auto-shuffling character variations for natural texture in longer texts. Extensive language support covers Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, and Vietnamese, making it adaptable for projects across regions and scripts.
