À propos Gordan Jast Type

Gordan Jast Type is an independent type foundry based in Berlin. The foundry develops contemporary typefaces with a strong focus on character, precision and lasting visual relevance. Launching with Naica and Vitral, Gordan Jast Type brings together an individual approach to type design with Swiss Creative Direction, creating typefaces that combine refined construction, distinctive forms and a clear sense of visual identity. The collaboration draws on the shared design culture of Germany and Switzerland, bringing together rigorous typographic thinking, geometric precision and an appreciation for reduction, proportion and detail. Each typeface is developed as an individual design system, balancing expressive character with practical versatility. Gordan Jast Type is dedicated to independent type design and direct collaboration. Rather than following a predefined catalogue aesthetic, the foundry approaches every new typeface as an opportunity to explore a distinct visual language — from expressive display typography to sophisticated contemporary text systems.
