Benjamin Pinson

Benjamin G. Pinson is a graphic designer and typographer based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with over two decades of professional experience across branding, marketing, apparel, and digital design. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2002, one of the most prestigious design institutions in the United States, where he developed a strong foundation in visual communication and typography. After graduating, Benjamin began his career creating artwork for an etched metal signage company before moving into a role at an internal marketing and promotions firm in Atlanta, where he handled creative work for major national brands including Shaw Industries, GE, and Keller Williams. That experience sharpened his understanding of design that performs, work that communicates clearly, scales across formats, and holds up under real commercial demands. In 2007, Benjamin founded Design IT Services LLC, bringing his expertise to clients across a wide range of logo, print, and web design services. In 2012, he launched Chattanooga Tshirt™, a studio rooted in apparel and custom design that has grown into a full creative brand serving designers, businesses, and makers worldwide. Benjamin's approach to type design is shaped by years of working with lettering across physical and digital media, from garments and signage to logos and web. His fonts are built to be bold, readable, and versatile, with a strong influence drawn from street art, urban culture, and the kind of design that makes an immediate visual impact.
