Auguste Théophile (Theo) Ballmer

Theo Ballmer worked for Hoffmann-LaRoche before he went to work at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany, in 1928. Father of Theo Ballmer II, and grandfather of Thierry Ballmer. His design ideas were the inspiration for the Theo Balmer font family.
