The rounded version of Aukim II retains all the technical and typographical qualities of the original family, but softens its visual impact with circular terminals and warmer curves. This variation brings a more human and friendly dimension, ideal for projects where professional neutrality must be accompanied by a touch of accessibility and approachability. A modern, geometric, and humanistic sans serif, Aukim II Rounded stands out with rounded contours that soften the rigor of straight forms, offering optimized readability for screen and print, with a smooth rendering that facilitates prolonged reading. Its stylistic flexibility makes it suitable for titles and body text alike, in branding, interfaces, or publications. It offers extensive language coverage, including Latin (basic to IPA), Cyrillic (including historical forms), and Greek, with 2,401 integrated glyphs including numbers, punctuation, diacritics, currency symbols, and stylistic variants. The family comes in several optical widths—Compressed, Condensed, Narrow, Normal, Wide, and Expanded—as well as three angles: Normal, Italic, and Slanted, enhanced by a rounded effect that gives it a friendlier and more expressive tone. Typographically, it incorporates 44 OpenType features, such as contextual and discretionary ligatures, alternates, swashes, small caps, tabulars, fractions, superscripts/subscripts, case-sensitive forms, and localized variants, with kerning and hinting adjusted for perfect consistency at all sizes and on all platforms. Designed for visual identities seeking to inspire trust and closeness, multilingual interfaces where legibility must be accompanied by a welcoming tone, as well as editorial publications and signage, Aukim II Rounded is the softer, more expressive version of the Aukim II family.
