Wide. Rounded. Dangerous.
Antigen is sci-fi display type built for logotypes, titles, and headlines that need to hit hard. Wide, subtly rounded letterforms give it a planted, engineered presence, and signature spiked crossbars add an aggressive edge. Use it where a few words have to carry the whole attitude: a game title screen, a team crest, an energy drink can, a product name, or a movie poster.
Antigen is a unicase design: its lowercase letters are drawn as small caps, so you can mix sizes within a word for extra rhythm without ever breaking the all-caps attitude.
Need more or less edge? Stylistic sets let you reshape the spikes, and a straight-crossbar alternate removes them entirely. Same bold silhouette, calmer attitude, so a single family covers both the loud and the refined versions of your design.
First released in 2007, Antigen has been fully remastered with refined curves, improved spacing, and a family that has doubled in size. Four weights, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold, now come with matching obliques that add forward momentum, so a logo, tagline, and title card can all stay in one family. Language support has grown too, with coverage for 270 Latin-script languages.
Antigen is made for impact, not endurance. Keep it to logos, headlines, and short lines of copy, and pair it with a simple sans for anything longer than a sentence or two.
