SynFonts, a one-person foundry was started by Don Synstelien in 1994 in Omaha Nebraska. The type designs from Synfonts are comprised primarily of display fonts created during the grunge era of the late 90's, with several faces having been featured in magazines, national ad campaigns and designs of that time period. While some people speculate that Don was captured by aliens sometime during the early 2000's, the truth is far stranger and cannot be told here. We've sent out a not-insignificant number of hired mercenaries to track Don down, but so far, our best efforts have not been enough. We'll up date you as we learn more.
